It is sturdy enough for any marching situation. Bell forward, the sound is focused and designed to project off the field and into the stands.
Clear Lacquer Finish. A finish preference is dictated by the demands of a marching band, uniformity, or personal taste. Lacquer is a clear epoxy coating applied to protect the natural shiny finish of polished brass. The tone is warm, clear, and focused. It is less expensive and easier to maintain.
